An installation with balancing machine, piano string, piezo pickup and electromagnet.
The end of a long piano string, a piezo pickup is attached and the other end, a strong magnet is attached. The signal from a piezo pickup is amplified and connected to an electromagnet. This electromagnet drives a magnet attached to the string, the vibration of the magnet is told to piezo via the string. Then feedback of magnetism and vibration is coming up. The position of the magnet is modified by the motor driven balancing machine. This machine sometimes interrupts the vibration of the string directly.

This is performance piece combined 2 type of ways of controlling paper clips from behind the board. One is based on synchronous motor and permanent magnet, and other is an electromagnet controlled by square wave oscillator through an audio amplifier. Sounds come from piezo pickups attached at behind the board.
